Betfred Super League Round 20 Preview

The Betfred Super League is back for another week in Round 20. Only 7 rounds remain before the play-offs begin, which teams will make the final spots? Thursday 21st July Leeds Rhinos vs Wigan Warriors, 8:00pm Round 20 gets underway on Thursday as Matt Peet and his Wigan travel to Headingley to face a hurting Leeds side after falling short to Toulouse 20-6. Rohan Smith will want to get back his Rhinos back to winning ways. Wigan will be confident as ever after demolishing Hull FC 60-0 with Bevan French scoring 7 tries, setting a new Super League record. Leeds on the other hand had some injury news this week. Rhinos fans found out that Hooker, Kruise Leeming could be out for the remainder of the season with a stress fracture in his foot. There will also be no Blake Austin and Aiden Sezer for Leeds with both missing out through injury. Record breaking Friday night for Super League

  A new Super League record was set on Friday night by Wigan Warriors No. 1, Bevan French who crossed over the try line a staggering 7 tries against a depleted Hull FC side. The previous record was set by Lesley Vainikolo for the Bradford Bulls back in 2006, also against Hull FC.  Brett Hodgsons Black & Whites were defeated by 60 points to nil with Bevan French the main talking point with 7 tries to his name. Hull were against it from the first whistle all the way to the last and Wigan's pressure was relentless and FC could do nothing to deal with it. Hull were dealt with more injury blows with big Prop Chris Satae going off after his first carry with what to be looked like a rolled ankle. He later came back on and was dealt another blow after he had to go off for a Head Injury Assessment, of which he failed.  The other injury blow for The Airlie Birds was other Prop, Scott Taylor who also failed a Head Injury Assessment. Betfred Super League Round 19 Preview

The Betfred Super League is back for another week after the enthralling Magic Weekend that was put on show to the 62000 fans that attended St James' Park, Newcastle. St Helens vs Huddersfield Giants, Friday, Kick off: 8:00pm Round 19 kicks off on the Friday where there are 2 games on show, one of which is on Sky Sports Arena where St Helens host Ian Watsons Huddersfield Giants at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Both teams will have their heads high after both teams were victorious and the Magic Weekend.  The Saints will be pleased after they defeated arch rivals Wigan Warriors 20 points to 18. On the other hand, the Giants were also victorious is there Magic Weekend fixture against the Salford Red Devils who were defeated 30 points to 18. For the Giants, their aim will be to get higher up in the Super League Table. They sit in a comfortable top 4 spot with Wigan and Saints respectably above them in 2nd and 1st, and the French outfit of Catalans Dragons sat 1 point below them in 4th. Fo...
